Research Interests: Structural dynamics, interactions of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) and drug design

Our research mainly focuses on studies of the structure-function relationship of GPCRs by using solution NMR methods and other biophysical techniques. In particular, we are interested in investigating the GPCR structural dynamics when bound to different ligands and downstream effector proteins, and the understand the role of protein dynamics in regulating GPCR mediated signaling pathways. Our research includes the following aspects:

1.    Structural dynamics of GPCRs;

2.    GPCR-ligand interactions and changes of structural dynamics;

3.    Structural dynamics of downstream effector proteins in GPCR signally pathways;

4.    Drug design and screening targeting GPCRs;

5.    NMR methodology development for GPCR studies.
